Ma pratique artistique a débuté avec la photographie lors de mes études d’ingénieur en agronomie dans l’est de la France et s’est prolongée lors de mon cursus à l’école nationale supérieure de la photographie d’Arles dont je suis sorti diplômé en 2019.
Depuis, ma pratique porte sur les processus d’organisation et de canalisation du réel que nos sociétés mettent en place. Avec, entre autres, des recherches sur l’eugénisme ou par l’intermédiaire de projets qui mettent en crise les catégorisations du paysages et les aménagements territoriaux. Mes travaux me permettent de manipuler et de tenter de comprendre les enjeux liés aux notions de « sélection » et de « valeur », qu’il s’agisse d’un territoire, d’une personne ou d’une idée. A travers des photos, des documents ou des performances, je tente d’interroger l’origine du geste artistique, ce qu’il peut produire comme erreurs, ce qu’il autorise comme collaboration et cocréation jusqu’à l’absence de production. Il s’agit en permanence de questionner la raison de la mise en lumière d’un sujet pour mieux élargir le spectre ou au contraire radicalement changer ce qui est illuminé.
Je développe également une pratique curatoriale avec des expositions qui ont rassemblées de nombreux artistes, ami•e•s et spectateur·rices autour de thèmes tels que la viralité, le paysage ou le choix. Enfin, mes projets sont souvent accompagnés par un travail éditorial pour lequel je fais régulièrement appel à différents artistes, auteur•rices de ma génération et de mon entourage.

My artistic work began with photography during my studies as an agronomic engineer in eastern France and was extended during my studies at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie in Arles, from which I graduated in 2019.
Since then, my practice has focused on the processes by which our societies organise and channel reality. My work includes research into Eugenics and projects that challenge the categorisation of landscapes and territorial planning. My work allows me to manipulate and try to understand the issues linked to the notions of ‘selection’ and ‘value’, whether in a territory, a person or an idea. Through photographs, documents and performances, I try to question the origins of the artistic gesture, what errors it can produce, what collaboration and co-creation it allows, and sometimes even the absence of production. It's always a matter of questioning the reason for highlighting a subject, the better to expand the range or, on the contrary, to radically change what is illuminated.
I'm also developing a curatorial practice with exhibitions that have brought together many artists, friends and viewers around themes such as virality, landscape and choices. Finally, my projects are often accompanied by editorial work, for which I regularly call on different artists and authors from my generation and my circle of friends.
